In this next meet-up we will welcome two special guests: Bobby Bouwmann and Sander van Kasteel. Bobby will share his knowledge about caching and Sander will show us how to use Laravel package development.

When working with a lot of data and queries, things can get slowly. We can stop overusing resources and use caching that is available out of the box. Togheter with Bobby Bouwmann we will dive into the beautiful world of caching in Laravel. We will cover the available options, different techniques, and more! You don’t want “Miss” this.

How does it work? In what ways can we expand on the functionalities of Laravel? And how do we (unit)test those functionalities?
Sander will be talking about how to get started with Laravel package development. He'll show in what ways we can expand Laravel and how we can (unit) test our shiny new features. In order to provide us a real-world example, he will be doing a live coding session showing how this can be done.
